St. Peter’s is a vibrant urban parish situated in the River Heights area of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We are seeking a new incumbent to help us to grow in our faith and experience of Christian ministry.

St. Peter’s is a devoted, faithful and supportive worshiping community, offering an accessible worship space, administrative support, parish offices, financial stability, and an inclusive environment. The identity of St. Peter’s is rooted in Eucharistic worship. Parish ministries and decisions are based on an intentionally collaborative model that draws on the gifts and skills of our members. We take education seriously, and are proud to be one of the few Anglican parishes to offer the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd to our youngest parishioners. We are also deeply committed to making the world a better place through a variety of local and global outreach ministries.

The new incumbent will serve the Parish on a full-time basis and will play an integral leadership role. The new incumbent will possess strong leadership and pastoral skills. Moreover, they will bring creativity and energy to the needs and issues facing our parish.

The parish has identified a number of challenges and opportunities for the future. Among them are reaching out to the surrounding neighbourhood, engaging/retaining young families, and becoming more invested in creation care initiatives. As we live more fully into our Collaborative Ministry Model, we are looking to empower the people of St. Peter’s to uphold our Purpose and Vision Statements. We are seeking a new incumbent for guidance and leadership in these aspects of our parish life.

Winnipeg is located in the centre of Canada, has a metropolitan population of approximately 800,000, and offers a wide variety of activities and amenities in a glorious four-season climate.

If relocation is required for the successful applicant, the Parish is prepared to assist financially.
