Alison Norberg

Alison has recently joined our staff team as Office Administrator. In addition to her duties at St. Peter's she also provides administrative support to Messiah Lutheran Church. Her roots are in the United Church of Canada, and she is a long-time member of Young United. She represents Young on the board of Crossways in Common, the multi-use building where the congregation worships and works with community partners to serve the West Broadway neighbourhood. 

Alison is a passionate supporter of a wide variety of arts and cultural organizations, notably the Manitoba Craft Council  (and is Past President), coordinates one of the La Cuisine volunteer crews at Winnipeg Folk Festival, and volunteers at the West End Cultural Centre. For her, being engaged in the wider community opens up opportunities to see God at work in the world. Living in the inner city, close to her heart are her neighbours, whose diversity and strength daily offer lessons of seeking justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly.
