Serene Desmond is a General Business Instructor at Red River College Polytech. She is currently teaching Business and Accounting courses through the Applied Commerce and Management Education Department. She has worked as an external auditor, financial analyst, manager, and now as an instructor. She is keen to continuously learn, which includes expanding her global perspectives. Her interests include spending time with her toy poodle, family, and friends.
Her volunteer work includes being a member of the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility Committee of the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, presenting financial literacy workshops for CPA Canada, and working on the finance committee for her church.
