Prayer Shawls are a tangible sign of our love and concern for one another. They are a comfort to someone who is going through a difficult time, whether that be illness, death of a loved one, or any other painful life challenge. They can also be offered as a sign of love from the community in times of celebration - marriage, birth of a child, going away to college.

If you would like to contribute your knitting or crocheting skills to this ministry, resources, including prayers before beginning and patterns, can be found at

Completed shawls can be passed on to Shelagh in the office.
