Anglican Grow Hope Project 2018 Eucharist and Lunch at Pembina Crossing
Anglican Grow Hope is a new project of Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF). It is designed to raise funds for PWRDF projects in a unique way and was developed in partnership with the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. On June 3rd, members of St. Peter's went to Pembina Crossing to worship with the family donating 15 acres to the project, have lunch together, and see the land where the crop will be grown. Each week this summer in front of the altar, a picture will be on display showing what summer looks like for St. Peter’s parish family. The display reminds us that, wherever we may be this summer, God is with us, and we are with this community as it gathers to worship each Sunday. Watch this space as our album grows throughout the season.
The Emerging Artists Exhibition and Sale is becoming a major spring event for St Peter’s! Through this annual event, St. Peter’s offers a venue to emerging artists to showcase their art publicly. This year the show featured various art disciplines such as oils, water colours, acrylics, and photography in addition to pottery and fused glass.
